Daytona 500 - February 2007 -

Deja Harvick. He won yesterday, he won today, he probably wants to schedule a race for tomorrow so he can win that one too. He didn’t show his hand until the last half a lap. Then with a big push from behind he took hold of the high line and breezed past Mark Martin. As Kyle Busch wrecked the whole field behind them Harvick held his line and kept Mark down on the track. Leaving Harvick with the momenteum and the win… and that was just the last 1/2 lap. The other 199 were almost as good.

Racin’ is back.

Busch Race - Daytona 2/17/2007

The ESPN broadcasting crew is going to take some time to get use to. Harvick appears to be picking up where he left off last season. Kevin isn’t running the full series this year. That doesn’t mean he will be a threat to repeat the series championship this year. The racing looked pretty good. The new faces from open wheel racing are learning the hard way how difficult and high pressured the taxicab racing is…

Daytona Truck Race - February 16, 2007

The Trucks started off the nascar points racing season tonight with a good race at Daytona. Travis Kvapil and the Roush freight train all but had the race won till that last 100 yards… Then Johnny Benson and Jack Sprague split Kvapil with the high line of Sprague taking the victory. The tv crew was already giving Kvapil the win well Sprague was passing Kvapil and winning the race.
